The Ripon Tigers will challenge the New Holstein Huskies at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Ripon 2.6, New Holstein 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
On Thursday, Ripon earned a 4-1 victory over Westfield Area. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Quinn Goldapske made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. Those 14 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Lily Kwakkel was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Jocelyn Baker was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one run.
Ripon hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Westfield Area struck out 14 times.
Meanwhile, New Holstein posted their closest win since April 30th on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Brillion, sneaking past 7-5.
The team relied heavily on Makya Pendleton, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Emma Manderscheid, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
New Holstein's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Ripon, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Saturday. Ripon hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like New Holstein struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.6 home runs.
