Boynton Beach is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
On Tuesday, Boynton Beach came up short against Santaluces and fell 49-41. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Boynton Beach in their matchups with Santaluces: they've now lost three in a row.
Inlet Grove suffered their closest loss yet this season on Saturday. They fell just short of Atlantic Christian by a score of 47-44. Inlet Grove has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Karstan Sebastian, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Benson Murat, who scored ten points.
Boynton Beach has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for Inlet Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
Boynton Beach beat Inlet Grove 68-60 in their previous meeting back in December of 2021. The rematch might be a little tougher for Boynton Beach since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
