The Chambers Academy Rebels entered their tilt with the Abbeville Christian Academy Generals with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Chambers Academy managed a 43-38 win over Abbeville Christian Academy on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Chambers Academy also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Despite the loss, Abbeville Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Anna grace Blalock, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. That was a full 36.8% of Abbeville Christian Academy's points, marking the tenth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Hudspeth, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Chambers Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Abbeville Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 7-12 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Chambers Academy will square off against Abbeville Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Abbeville Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Tuesday. As for they, they will be playing at home against Chambers Academy at 6:00 p.m. Chambers Academy and Abbeville Christian Academy are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads.
