One thing working in Arizona Lutheran Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 13 contests.
Arizona Lutheran Academy put the finishing touches on their 15th blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They really took it to Kingman Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 83-53 win at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-26.
Noah Draper was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Iron shell, who scored 23 points.
Meanwhile, Mohave Accelerated ended up a good deal behind Mogollon on Saturday and lost 65-47. It was the first time this season that Mohave Accelerated let down their fans at home.
Arizona Lutheran Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. As for Mohave Accelerated, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-5.
Arizona Lutheran Academy beat Mohave Accelerated 80-72 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Mohave Accelerated's Tyson Banks, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Now that he won't be playing on Thursday, will it be that much easier for Arizona Lutheran Academy to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
