Football Recap: Lamar Skates Past Wayne Academy with Ease

While Lamar put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Wayne Academy. The Raiders blew past the Jaguars 32-0. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won three in a row.

Lamar got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jalin Trotter out in front who picked up 67 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Sullivan Reed, who threw for 136 yards and three TDs.

Lamar's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lamar will square off against Jackson Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wayne Academy, they will challenge Heritage Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
