The Manning Monarchs will be playing at home against the Dillon Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Last Tuesday, Manning ended up a good deal behind the Bulldogs and lost 58-44.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Dillon over the Blue Jackets in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Dillon blew the Blue Jackets out of the water with a 63-20 final score. That looming 63-20 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Dillon yet this season.
Dillon can attribute much of their success to Zamaurious Robertson, who scored ten points along with two steals, and Jamarion Fling, who scored eight points along with five steals. Fling has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Jayden Benjamin was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Manning's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Dillon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.
Manning came up short against the Wildcats when the teams last played back in January, falling 68-60. Will Manning have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other basketball content.
