She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Annabelle McRoberts was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Tyree Sears, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Wendell kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Melba only managed six hits.
Wendell pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.8 runs. As for Melba, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
