On Wednesday, Northwestern was beaten by Parkside 71-33. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Northwestern has scored all season.
Parkside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kasson James led the charge by scoring 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keinard Holmes, who scored 16 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Northwestern and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Parkside, they pushed their record up to 8-4 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.
Northwestern will take on Bladensburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parkside, they will head out on the road to face off against Friendship Collegiate Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Friendship Collegiate Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 two weeks ago.
