Desert View is 0-8 against Nogales since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Desert View Jaguars will head out on the road to face off against the Nogales Apaches at 7:00 p.m. Desert View has now lost 18 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 25.
Desert View suffered their biggest defeat since December 19, 2023 on Wednesday. They took a serious blow against Nogales, falling 66-35. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Desert View in their matchups with Nogales: they've now lost eight in a row.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Gilbert Herran, who scored five points along with six rebounds and two steals. Luis Felix was another key contributor, scoring a point along with ten rebounds.
Desert View's defeat was their 17th straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Nogales, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Desert View was taken down by Nogales 66-35 in their previous meeting on Wednesday. Can Desert View avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
