The Mt. Rainier Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Chief Sealth 75-38 on the road. With that win, Mt. Rainier brought their scoring average up to 52.8 points per game.
Zach Luz was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 39 points and 11 rebounds. The matchup was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Chris Martinez, who scored ten points.
The victory got Mt. Rainier back to even at 3-3. As for Chief Sealth, they bumped their record down to 1-4 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
Mt. Rainier will head out on the road to face off against Kennedy Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chief Sealth won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Franklin at 8:30 p.m. on December 15th. Franklin is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
