The Marceline Tigers and the Milan Wildcats squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Marceline Tigers had to settle for second. Marceline took a 26-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Milan. Marceline's loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, Marceline still got an impressive performance from Conner Quinn, who rushed for 174 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.
Marceline's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Milan, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-1.
Marceline will head out on the road to face off against Milan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Milan, they will be playing at home against Marceline at 7:00 p.m.
