Despite the defeat, Decatur Eisenhower saw an underclassman step up: Honesti Woodland dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mae'shell Eskridge, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Mt. Pulaski's win bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Decatur Eisenhower, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-19.
Mt. Pulaski's road trip will continue as they head out to face Heyworth at 6:00 p.m. on February 12th. As for Decatur Eisenhower, they will take on Champaign Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Decatur Eisenhower is coming into the match with 12 straight losses on the road, meaning Champaign Central will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
