JSerra Catholic put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the La Serna Lancers 33-6. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lancers, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead JSerra Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ava Irwin, who picked up 43 receiving yards and three TDs. Another passer making a difference was Kate Meier, who threw for 97 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 84.6% of her passes.

JSerra Catholic didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Sterling Flores and Irwin.

JSerra Catholic's record is now 6-0. As for La Serna, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

JSerra Catholic has already played their next matchup, a 19-0 win against Carlsbad on the 23rd. As for La Serna, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 35-14 victory against Brea Olinda on the 25th.
