It was a good run, but  the Rawlins Outlaws unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell  72-65 to Laramie. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game  last Saturday (63), Rawlins still had to take the loss.
 Defeat or not, Rawlins got some senior leadership from  Jose Morales who  scored 27 points along with six  assists and two  steals and  Jaxson Allard who  scored 25 points along with nine  rebounds and two  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Allard has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Damien Vialpando, who  scored four points along with two  steals.
 Laramie was led to victory by  Jaden Smith and  Neil Summers.  Smith  scored 16 points along with seven  rebounds and six  assists, while  Summers  dropped  a double-double on 26 points and 15  rebounds. Summers has been hot recently, having posted eight or more  rebounds the last eight times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Max Alexander, who  scored 11 points.
 Rawlins bumped their record down to 4-6 with that  loss, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Laramie, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
 Rawlins won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Buffalo at 3:00  p.m.  on January 13th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Wyoming (Buffalo is ranked 36th, while Rawlins is ranked 34th). As for Laramie, they will be playing at home against East at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
