Chris Biggs posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He was up against Griffin and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them last Tuesday. Biggs has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one hit in seven consecutive appearances.

Biggs' effort led Northside over Griffin and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
