After losing to the Parkway West HOYAS the last time they met, the Parkway Northwest Hoyas decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Parkway Northwest walked away with a 44-34 victory over Parkway West on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Parkway Northwest.
Parkway Northwest got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jayden Gladden out in front who scored 14 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Gladden has scored at least 25% of Parkway Northwest's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kahleem Jordan, who scored 11 points.
Parkway Northwest's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Parkway West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkway Northwest will challenge Science Leadership Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Science Leadership Academy and Parkway Northwest are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads. As for Parkway West, they will head out on the road to face off against TECH Freire Charter at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
