Tyler Kann Delivers Best Performance of Season
John Champe was led to victory by Tyler Kann, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Kann rushed for 44 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 48 receiving yards and a touchdown. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023.
The win for John Champe keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. They and Park View are set to duel on Thursday.

John Champe picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Brandon Pena. Pena did his part (and then some), throwing for 201 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 37 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'.

Dawon Harvey Jr was instrumental in extending John Champe's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Harvey Jr as he rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also picked up 69 receiving yards. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
For the year, Harvey Jr has averaged 102.9 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 68 receiving yards per game.
