Marian won the last time they faced Notre Dame Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Mustangs blew past the Eagles 3-0. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Mustangs yet this season.

Marian never let Notre Dame Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-13, 25-17.

Quinn Nelson paced Marian's offense, picking up 12 kills. Nelson got some help from Allie Davison and her 26 assists. Davison also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Maddison Monroe, each putting up two.
