Meanwhile, Blackstone-Millville was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past St. Paul 56-10 at home. With Blackstone-Millville ahead 42-10 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Daniel Lawton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 282 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries. Lawton's longest rush was for an incredible 81 yards. Ethan Arzigian was another key contributor, rushing for 68 yards and a touchdown.
Nipmuc Regional's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 4-1. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Assabet Valley RVT, St. Bernard's Central Catholic, and Littleton.
