The Cobleskill-Richmondville Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Mayfield Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cobleskill-Richmondville knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Mayfield likes a good challenge.
Cobleskill-Richmondville barely beat Mohonasen the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 13-0 victory on Saturday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by eight runs or more this season.

In other pitching news, Elijah Barr looked comfortable as he went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
Back at the plate, Brandon Rotman was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Alex Hertzler was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Mayfield might've scored the first runs on Friday, but it was Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville who claimed the real prize. The Panthers fell 7-4 to the Wolves. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Wolves: they've now lost three in a row.
Cubby Roth (C) was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Roth (C) was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs.
Roth (C) wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Landon Conyne, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases. Patrick Allen also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.
Mayfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Cobleskill-Richmondville, their record is now 7-1-1.
