Crestview is 8-2 against Liberty since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Rebels will head out to challenge the Leopards at 5:00 p.m. Crestview is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
While Crestview didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Memorial with a sharp 14-4 win on Thursday. Considering the Rebels have won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Makayla Mckee was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with six RBI and two doubles.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brenna Figley, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Lainey Milhoan was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
Crestview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in four consecutive matchups.
Liberty not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 9, 2024. They never let Newton Falls get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The Leopards haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Crestview pushed their record up to 6-1-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Liberty, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Crestview took their win against Liberty in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 15-5 score. Will the Rebels repeat their success, or do the Leopards have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
