It was fun while it lasted, but Sanger's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Saturday. Neither they nor the Golden Valley Bulldogs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result kept the Apaches happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Sanger was without their leading scorer, Alfredo Cardenas, in Saturday's matchup. With Cardenas sidelined, Fabian Cuevas got his first action of the season.

Sanger's draw gives them a new season record of 4-0-1. As for Golden Valley, they moved theirs to 0-2-2.

Sanger wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 5-2 loss against Clovis on the 7th. Golden Valley has also already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Santa Maria on the 10th.
