The Simmons Blue Devils can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They blew past Leland 43-15 on the road. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Simmons had established a 25 point advantage.
Akiah Prince continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Esco, who scored two points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Simmons has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. As for Leland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-23.
Simmons does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Leland also has no future games currently scheduled.
