With a playoff win on the line, Hough rose to the challenge  on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past the A.L. Brown Wonders  7-5. The  victory was familiar territory for the Huskies, who have now won three  games in a row.
 Payton Elwell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned  (and one unearned) runs on nine hits.
 At the plate,  Ashlyn Rogers was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Maylee Stroupe, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  runs and one  double.
