Softball Recap: Olean Has No Trouble Against Southwestern

Olean won the last time they faced Southwestern and things went their way on Monday too. The Huskies blew past the Trojans 10-1. Considering the Huskies have won six games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Olean is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Southwestern, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Olean wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-6 win against Fredonia on the 6th. As for Southwestern, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Allegany-Limestone on the 7th.
