After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lafayette, Starks was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Lake Charles College Prep Trailblazers with a sharp 17-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Starks' victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Lake Charles College Prep, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Looking ahead, Starks will welcome Singer at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Charles College Prep, they will challenge Hathaway at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.67 runs per game on average), something the Trailblazers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
