The Dillon Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Georgetown 63-26 at home. That looming 63-26 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Dillon yet this season.
Dillon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Khwnylahi Mckinnon, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals. Mckinnon is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Treasure Davis, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Dillon pushed their record up to 13-5 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.9 points per game. As for Georgetown, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.
Dillon will be playing at home against Loris at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Loris is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. Georgetown on the road again on Friday and play against Waccamaw at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th.
