Curwensville (Pa.), a Class A squad from central Pennsylvania, leads all teams and player pages in "Likes" on MaxPreps.com. As of Thursday night, 137 people had liked the Curwensville football page.
MaxPreps debuted Likes on Thursday to give fans an opportunity to support their team through the popular Facebook social activity. Curwensville currently has the lead, and it's up to you and your friends to try and overtake the Golden Tide.
Led by head coach Andy Evanko, Curwensville is off to a 1-0 start after pounding Smethport 53-33 a week ago. The team hosts Sheffield tonight.
Black River (Sullivan, Ohio), located in Northeast Ohio, is No. 2 in most Likes, as 115 fans have demonstrated their support of the team with a Like.
Georgia powerhouse
Camden County (Kingsland, Ga.) sits at No. 4 with 106 Likes. The Wildcats are off to a 2-0 start, including an impressive nationally televised victory over Glenville.
The most-liked player page on MaxPreps currently belongs to No. 1 recruit
Dorial Green-Beckham. Green-Beckham, whose senior season is off to a stellar beginning, garnered 85 likes in one week.
Barry Sanders, the son of the legendary Lions running back, is currently second among players with 76 likes.
