Baseball Recap: Waltrip Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Waltrip and Georgetown squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Waltrip had to settle for second. They fell 7-2 to the Eagles.

Waltrip's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-8. As for Georgetown, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-13-1.

While Waltrip had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Friday.
