The Columbia Roughnecks can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They blew past La Marque 58-19 at home. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Columbia considering their 25-point performance the matchup before.
Alexia Lewis was a one-man wrecking crew for Columbia as she scored 23 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lewis has scored all season. Ayvah Fields was another key contributor, scoring five points along with 13 rebounds.
Columbia's win bumped their record up to 10-19. As for La Marque, they dropped their record down to 4-18 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
