Dadeville extended the longest winning streak in 4A Region 3 this week by beating Handley, 52-46. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Tigers.
Dadeville and the Tigers played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Dadeville eventually emerging with a 52-46 victory. Kaleb Beck threw for 252 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 18 yards in the win.
Richard White's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground C. J. Tolbert chipped in 191 yards. Damarius Gilbert helped Dadeville's passing attack out by catching three balls for 48 yards.
Terry Toler was the best wideout in the league this week as the Tigers topped Handley. Toler tallied seven receptions for 104 yards.
Dadeville's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Beck has thrown for 1685 yards and 24 touchdowns this season, while Toler has 28 catches for 589 yards. Tolbert leads the league in rushing with 757 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Dadeville takes on second place Central of Clay County. Last week, Dadeville defeated Mike Battles' team, while Central of Clay County beat Beulah.
