The Dothan Wolves stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Prattville 72-36 at home. Given Dothan's advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while Prattville is ranked 295th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Prattville's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ty Bryant, who scored 13 points. That was a full 36.1% of Prattville's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Dothan is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Prattville, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-23.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dothan will take on Daleville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Prattville, they will be playing at home against Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Enterprise is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
