They put the hurt on Dongola with a sharp 74-48 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Joppa-Maple Grove also won the last time the pair played last Friday.
Joppa-Maple Grove's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Maurice Zabala, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Zabala has scored at least 25% of Joppa-Maple Grove's points. Caleb Hinman was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 5 steals.
Joppa-Maple Grove is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for Dongola, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
