2A Evergreen recap November 13, 2013
Tumwater added to the longest winning streak in 2A Evergreen this week by beating Aberdeen, 42-12. The victory was the 10th in a row for the Thunderbirds.
Tumwater took down the Bobcats 42-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Christian Cummings ran for 147 yards in the win.
Sid Otton's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jayden Croft threw for 41 yards and Easton Trakel had 30 yards receiving. On the ground Cummings chipped in 147 yards.
Cummings provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Thunderbirds bested Aberdeen.
Cummings was the best running back in the league this week. Teammate Tyrus Snow added to the ground attack by rushing for 57 yards.
Tumwater's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Thunderbirds feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Croft has thrown for 934 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, while Trakel has 18 catches for 406 yards.
Centralia made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,858 from 9,127.
