After a string of four wins, the Richton Rebels's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 42-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Forrest. Richton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as North Forrest apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Dherria Barlow and Nylah Robins certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Barlow almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds, while Robins almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Barlow has scored all season.
Richton's defeat dropped their record down to 13-16. As for North Forrest, their win bumped their record up to 9-18.
Richton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-31 victory vs. Collins on the 9th. North Forrest has also already played their next contest, a 66-24 loss against Heidelberg on the 9th.
