Even though Faith Christian has not done well against Sacramento Adventist recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Faith Christian took down Sacramento Adventist 45-30. The victory was just what Faith Christian needed coming off of a 88-66 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Western Sierra Collegiate Academy had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36.4 points), and they went ahead and made it 11 on Wednesday. They blew past Sacramento Country Day 71-33 on the road. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 23 points or more this season.
Western Sierra Collegiate Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was John Harb out in front who scored 17 points. Max Frantti was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Faith Christian's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-12. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season.
Faith Christian was dealt a bruising 75-25 loss at the hands of Western Sierra Collegiate Academy in their previous meeting on January 8th. Can Faith Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
