Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, Colo.) beat
Castle View (Castle Rock, Colo.) 35-15 on Saturday.
The Trojans were up 21-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run by Davis in the first quarter.
Fountain-Fort Carson expanded its lead to 28 points entering the fourth quarter. FFC scored once in the quarter on a Davis touchdown run.
Cameron Hacker played well for the Fountain school in the victory. The junior quarterback threw three touchdowns. He has now scored six touchdowns on the season.
Ryan Fila made a difference for the Sabercats. The senior running back ran for one touchdown. He has now scored five touchdowns on the season.
The Trojans had given up an average of 14.7 points prior to the contest. Castle View's 15 points were well below its season average of 22.3 per game.
In a 5A Pioneer game next week Fountain-Fort Carson (6-1) takes on Doherty, and Castle View (3-4) will go up against Heritage also in a 5A Pioneer game.
