Century's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Savanna at home and fell 86-28. Century has not had much luck with Savanna recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, Santa Ana Valley pushed their score all the way to 79 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 88-79 hit to the loss column at the hands of Anaheim. Santa Ana Valley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Century's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-9. As for Santa Ana Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.
Century came up short against Santa Ana Valley in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 39-32. Can Century avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
