Soroco and De Beque are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. De Beque took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Soroco, who comes in off a win.

If Hayden wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Soroco, they should've done a better job of containing Ceci Gregory. The Rams blew past the Tigers 3-0 on Friday with plenty of help from Gregory, who had 19 digs. She has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more digs the last ten times she's played.
Soroco not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Hayden between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13, 25-16.
Meanwhile, De Beque was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They came up short against West Grand, falling 3-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 5, 2021, but that streak is no more.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 25-14.
The victory made it two in a row for Soroco and bumps their season record up to 9-7. As for De Beque, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's contest: Soroco hasn't let much over the net this season, having averaged 4.8 blocks per game. It's a different story for De Beque, though, as they've been averaging only 1.6 blocks. Given Soroco's sizable advantage in that area, the Dragons will need to find a way to close that gap.
