Jefferson-Morgan has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Geibel Catholic Gators at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
On Friday, Jefferson-Morgan was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 45-39 to West Greene.
Max Ivanusic put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Geibel Catholic, who are still winless after their 14th contest. They took a 60-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of California on Friday.
Jefferson-Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Geibel Catholic, they bumped their record down to 0-14 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Jefferson-Morgan came up short against Geibel Catholic in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 61-54. Can Jefferson-Morgan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
