The Stewarts Creek Red Hawks were the 61-54 winner over the Lebanon Blue Devils when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. Stewarts Creek took a 52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lebanon on Tuesday.
Despite the loss, Stewarts Creek still got an impressive performance from Camden Ward, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds. The game was Ward's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Stewarts Creek's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Lebanon, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stewarts Creek is on the road again on Friday and play against Smyrna at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. Smyrna is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Lebanon, they will head out on the road to face off against LaVergne at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. LaVergne will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 298th, while Lebanon is ranked 22nd).
