Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Wins Going Away Against Roosevelt

There's no place like home for Lincoln, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past the Roosevelt Rough Riders 3-0 on Thursday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Patriots this season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-9.

Hannah Baron paced Lincoln's offense, picking up nine kills. Baron got some help from Mallory Schneider and her 22 assists. Schneider was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Lincoln's record is now 5-3. As for Roosevelt, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lincoln is set to face off against their familiar foe Aberdeen Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Roosevelt will take on rival Stevens at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th.
