Harrisburg will challenge Cedar Ridge on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Harrisburg is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
It was close but no cigar for Harrisburg as they fell 20-22 to Cross County last Friday. Harrisburg's defeat came about despite a quality game from senior Jett Jackson, who picked up 81 yards on the ground and threw 3 TDs.
Meanwhile, Cedar Ridge couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-44 to Jessieville. Cedar Ridge were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-28.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
