The Rowland Hall Winged Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 13th straight defeat. They were dealt a 44-16 defeat at the hands of Waterford. Rowland Hall was down 33-7 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Bea Wall was Rowland Hall's leading scorer, having posted four points.
Anne Howard continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Waterford, scoring 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Ana Holtey, who scored five points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Rowland Hall dropped their record down to 2-14 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Waterford, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.

Rowland Hall comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Waterford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against American Prep WV at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waterford has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
