Two dominant in Andrew Parker and Ethan Bass are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Redeemer Christian Lions will be playing at home against the Aucilla Christian Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Redeemer Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches.
Even though Meadowbrook Academy scored an imposing 55 points on Thursday, Redeemer Christian still came out on top. Redeemer Christian enjoyed a cozy 73-55 victory over Meadowbrook Academy. With that victory, Redeemer Christian brought their scoring average up to 51.6 points per game.
Parker was his usual excellent self, shooting 4-for-8 from long range and dropping a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Beau Suarez, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Aucilla Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 43-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Meadowbrook Academy.
Redeemer Christian pushed their record up to 6-9 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for Aucilla Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
Everything came up roses for Redeemer Christian against Aucilla Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 76-36 victory.
