Chilton County can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They never let Holy Family Catholic onto the board and left with a 8-0 win. It was an even better day for Logan Lutz as he scored three goals for his team.
Meanwhile, Montevallo came into Monday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Tarrant on Monday. That looming 2-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Montevallo yet this season.
Chilton County's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Montevallo, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
Chilton County beat Montevallo 3-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2022. Will Chilton County repeat their success, or does Montevallo have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
