Alexus Wilson was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds for Paulding County. Wilson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Manigault, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Douglas County has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for Paulding County, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Douglas County will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Alexander focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Friday. As for Paulding County, they will head out on the road to challenge the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Georgia (South Paulding is ranked 239th, while the Patriots are ranked 216th).
