  Ellie Randall made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and only one walk). Randall has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Randall was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Circle got a  massive  performance out of  Whitney Wilbur, who  went 2-for-2 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Lauren Swilley, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-3.
 Meanwhile,  after a string of four wins, Valley Center's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They suffered a  tough 8-2 loss at the hands of Maize South. The loss was Valley Center's first of the season.
 Circle has  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight matchups,  which somehow isn't as good as their 14-4 record  this season. As for Valley Center, their  defeat was their first of the  season and makes their record 4-1-1.
