They put the hurt on Saucon Valley with a sharp 64-41 victory on Thursday. The victory was just business as usual for Notre Dame-Green Pond, who after six games remain undefeated this season.
When it comes to explaining why Saucon Valley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Caleb Grim. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points. The matchup was Grim's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Braden Weiss was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Notre Dame-Green Pond's victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Saucon Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
Notre Dame-Green Pond will be home for the holidays to greet Pen Argyl at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Pen Argyl comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Saucon Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Kutztown at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
