The victory was a breath of fresh air for Maysville as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Maysville's win lifted them to 1-3 while Temple's loss dropped them down to 0-4. In their win, Maysville relied heavily on junior Gunner Aprill, who rushed for 86 yards and 2 touchdowns. Temple will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
